Moms United in Caring for our Earth and Caring for our Families Naturally.

We are a newly forming group -soon to be non profit- whose purpose is to create transformation and fun through environmental events in the OC, and awareness on a global level through our website.

We will do this by creating local events which make Environmental Activism Fun and Accessible to Dads, families,children, students, business community service groups, - and everyone in Orange County, CA. We will incorporate local Eco-Friendly Businesses and organizations for information and to create earth friendly purchasing power in consumers.

We will develope this website to allow for sharing and connecting about our favorite natural, toxin free personal care, baby care and home products. We plan to create opportunity for awareness about natural living and the benefits to our families and to the earth.

We will also strive to make a difference in synthetic chemical, hormones, pesticide,toxin and pollution regulations and awareness. We see environmental awareness and activism not as a political issue, but as a personal health issue for ourselves, our children and our earth.

Our mission is that everyone will Live Life Naturally and Live a Life they Love!

Green Earth Festival

Our first event was a Green Earth Festival on Saturday March 15th, 2008 10 am to 3 pm, at Santiago Park and Nature Reserve in Santa Ana, CA. This beatiful park is a refuge for the many birds and small animals that fled the 40,000 acres that were burned this fall in the fires.

In addition to nature crafts, a live painting performance, food, three fantastic musical acts and over 24 vendors vendors of natural products, we had a native plant and tree planting event in which over 150 trees were panted! Each person who planted a tree is personally responsible for removing one ton of carbon from the earths's atmosphere! That's approxiamataly 150 tons of carbon that will be removed from the earth's atmosphere! We had a 10 person expert panel discussion of what we can do to be more green and sustainable which included leaders in solar energy, electric cars, baby and mothering topics, home safety, and personal care and nutrition.

Over 400 people attended, including Santa Ana City Council Woman Michelle Martinez and the Spanish newspaper. The Cal State Long Beach Alphi Phi Omega Co-Ed Service Fraternity volunteered at the event along the Irvine Brownies and many incredible community people. We were honored to have such radiant, wonderful people involved in creating such beautiful energy, learning, contribution and fun at this event! We look forward to creating anotehr ECO-Fun event in Orange county such as an ocean shore clean up day, more planting, nature hikes with nature study and any event which the community requests related to the environment.
